The Summerfield started trading as a partnership in March 1986 as Summerfield Nursing Home.

Our primary work was nursing the elderly, palliative car and convalescence. We have over the years built up the confidence and respect within the community, including the hospitals and doctors, for the standard and quality of our work. As a family run business we have always been progressive in our outlook and strived to improve our service to our patients.

In April 2003 we formed a limited company with the same management and named it The Summerfield (nursing unit) and we presented a new look, which is as you see it today.  Now in 2009/10, The Summerfield is undergoing a refurbishment programme improving the facilities we provide to our Patients.
